Dr. Rakesh Kumar Dua has experience of more than 25 years in this field of Neurosurgery & Spine surgeries. Presently working as Director Neurosurgery & Head Neurospine in Fortis Hospital & Faculty Neurosurgery & Spine, National Board of Examinations. Ministry of Health & Family welfare, New-Delhi. His particular area of interest is in minimally invasive neuro & spine surgeries & Neuro critical care. Has more than 25 years of experience in Neurosurgical & Spine surgeries including various complex vascular skull base, endoscopic, brain & spine tumors, spinal decompression & fixation and neurotrauma with successful outcomes. Before joining Fortis Healthcare, he was working as Director Neurosurgery & Head Neuro Spine Max super specialist Hospital, Shalimar Bagh. He worked as Head of Department, Neurosurgery, UCMS & GTB hospital. Started DNB academic programme in neurosurgery in 2005 & successfully continued till 2011. Working as faculty, Neurosurgery & spine, National Board of Examinations, Ministry of Health & Family welfare, New-Delhi as Examiner/Assessor. He has published more than 20 articles in various national & international indexed journals. Presented papers in various national & international conferences as free papers & as guest faculty
