Dr. Niranjan Naik is the Director of Surgical Oncology at Fortis Memorial Research Institute (FMRI), Gurgaon. He trained in surgical oncology from the prestigious Institute Rotary Cancer Hospital (IRCH), All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. He has performed more than 12,000 onco-surgical procedures in last 21 years since 1997. He has successfully done various complex onco-surgical operations including open, laparoscopic, robotic and thoracoscopic procedures. He has expertise in entire range of benign and malignant breast surgeries including onco-plastic surgery. He has been an invited faculty at various national and international conferences. He has published numerous papers and research articles in journals of national and international repute.
Dr. Naik is passionate about spreading awareness about cancer prevention and early detection through regular health talks, awareness drives and screening camps. He is also spearheading the tobacco cessation movement by creating awareness amongst school children in Delhi & National Capital Region (NCR).
